All of the money that we bring in is through Open Collective (registered under our former name of Abolition Apostles). We’ve created a financial transparency page to help share more information on where our donations go. The money we receive goes towards logistical needs, including:
- Maintaining our website domain & hosting site
- Helping pay for response letters to inside penpals who write us interested in receiving a penpal
- Maintaining an Airtable database, which includes our pen pal wait list
